Famous Quotes and Comments by Serena Williams
I am wealthy so I am invited and have traveled to the most prestigious events all over the world. Out of all those people, places and events....
I just kept striking the balls as hard as I could. I just kept playing good shots. When I am on serve, I am working on my serve. I don't think there was really a turn around. I think I almost lost a break at one point, but I think I never so felt good. I never felt I would go down tonight.
My father has given me a big influence as well as my mum. They both want to make sure that myself and my sister, all of my sisters, the whole family, to be good people, not just on the court. It is very important to them that we are good persons after the tennis court.
I don't even think about invincibility. I've been off for eight months. It's just trying. I've had a very difficult 12 months - just my life in general. And I think, considering everything that's happened to me, just happy to be playing right now. Sometimes I'm hard on myself. I'm thinking why didn't I do this, why didn't I win this.
I really want to give 200 percent here, and I think that was my main goal, is to play.
